I have learned that what few references we have are limited in scope and detail concerning the #1 sporter. This important rifle deserves a more detailed and comprehensive treatise rather than the paintbrush descriptions we've been exposed to.
Please, one of you, compile information and pictures of collections, individual pieces that have historical value, details, anomalies and what have you into a hardbound book on the Remington Sporter that is the equal and definitive reference similar to that of Sellers book on Sharps.
I don't care who or how many writes it but put me down for the first copy.
