Good afternoon,
I have come across a Model 722 in .244 Remington that has me scratching my head. The date code on the barrel is "CA" this would be April 1954. My question is would Remington have made a rifle chambered in .244 that early? We have all been told that the .244 was introduced in 1955 ...
