It was made mid year 1932.

I would go by the date code. The serial no. is just an approximate, and this shows it's not as accurate as some may think. That's why I told you to check the day code. It is possible that the barrel has been replaced, but in that case if done at the factory there would be a second date code stating the date it was repaired and the date code would also be stamped with a number 3.
