model 11 mag assy and fiber cushion
I have a 1923 model and would like to know how to disassemble the magazine for cleaning and also the best way to remove and install a new cushion? I'm using an operators manual I printed off stevespages which,surprisingly,got into more diassembly info but nothing on mag or cuhion.Thank you.

If you follow the drawing you can remove the internal parts of the magazine tube. You should be able to clean the tube without removing it from the receiver.
I replaced the fiber cushon in my 1909 model by completely dissassembling the receiver except for the magazine tube. I then broke the fiber cushon. It basically fell apart. I then pried the rivet out. I installed a new fiber cushon and rivet by placing the rivet and pad in place and using a long punch and hammer tapping the rivet into place.
I am not certain that this is the best way to change the cushon but it worked for me.
