Remington Rolling block blew up!

We had a guy at our local gun club had his Remington Rolling chambered in 7mm. He was happily shooting it when it suddenly blew. Literally the chamber disintegrated. Days latter we found little piece of shrapnel all over the place. The guy is having to have brain surgery to remove pieces of the receiver out of his brain. He was using 50 year old surplus ammo which was obviously too hot for the gun. Careful what ammo you put in old rifles. It could be very bad for your health.
