Love your site! Have a newby question--
Picked up a Remington 1100 LT-20, stamped "women in the outdoors" on the receiver, barrel marked LT 20GA 2 3/4, with a brown checkered laminate stock and 26 inch barrel NIB for $490--is this a good deal? Have found very little information on this gun online so far, if you could provide any information about the history of this gun, manufacture or load limitations it would be greatly appreciated--thank you for your help!
Remington 1100 LT-20 "women in the outdoors" edition, help
Re: Remington 1100 LT-20 "women in the outdoors" edition, help
Never seen one but Remington made them to comemmorate their support of the Women in the Outdoors organization. If it has the matte metal finish and the laminated stock it is probably slightly high at $490, but excellent condition blued and polished guns in 20 gauge will routinely go for that. It'll shoot any 2-3/4" load and should have screw in choke tubes. If you have the serial number and barrel code you can go to the manufacture dates link on the home page and find out when it was made.
What could have happened... did.
