Model 14 1/2 woodwork

Post by garrys02 »

Is there anyone making replacement stocks and fore ends for the 14
& a half?
Have this nice pre 1920 back in working order, a nice chequered steel butplate and the foreend screws but no wood.
Appreciate anr recommendations.

Gunstocks, Inc.
Bedford, IA
They make semi-finished stocks for both semi-crescent and shotgun style buttplates.
Be prepared to do some woodworking, they are $49 + postage. You can get them in both
pistol grip or carbine style. They have a website! If you were lucky enough to get an original off one of the auction sites, it would probably require work and not all factory stocks will fill all TG assemblies.

Good luck!
