1100 Sporting Barrel Length - Am I being scammed?

I won an auction for an 1100 sporting model 12 gage and the auction was listed as a 28" barrel. After I paid for the gun the seller said he noticed it was a 30" barrel and not 28". I can't find any information about Remington making a 30" barrel on this gun. I got it at a very good price and I'm wondering if the seller is trying to back out. This is not a sporting clays model but looks just like the current 1100 sporting on the Remington web site. Any help would be appreciated.

All I have seen on Sporting Models are 28" and 27" barrels - the 27" being on the 28 and .410 models.
