new to forum, need alittle help please, I just purchased a model 11 serial number starting with 143xxx. where could i find how to disassemble the action and clean it. i have a problem when loading a shell from the mag. tube into the chamber the shell gets caught on the left side of the reciever by the piece that is spring loaded and protrudes out the left side also it will not eject the shell every time i was using low brass number 7s, any help will be greatful

Go to ebay and search on Remington Model 11 and all manner of repro service manuals will display.

Your gun is pushing 100 years old.
Do yourself a favor and have it checked by a competent gunsmith.

go to browning's web site, you can download the auto 5 manual for free in pdf format. This is virtually the same gun as the model 11. Also, make sure you have the friction pieces set correctly for light loads, if they are set wrong that could cause some problems cycling the action.
