In your opinion, what is the best site to auction a pristine 1973 Wingmaster?

You haven't told us what it is. 12Ga? Trap grade? Field grade? Unless it is high grade gun or rare gauge such as 410 or 28 Ga it is most likely best to try to sell it locally. The shipping and auction fees will eat up proceeds in my opinion.

This is a Wingmaster 870 pump. I believe it was manufactured in February of 1973. It belonged to my uncle. It has been stored for 50 years. He was not a hunter, and probably only shot a few shells thru it right after he got it. It's in excellent shape, both on the outside, as well as the inside of the barrel, which looks brand new. It comes with a 1973 Black Sheep case that is still in excellent shape as well. The case has a jaguar lining that is still beautiful. I'm including some pics for you to base an opinion on. In my opinion your 870 is worth about the same as a similar new 870 at Bass Pro. Maybe a bit less since yours doesn't have a Rem Choke barrel which was offered beginning in '86 as I recall. It's just a plain Jane 870 and age does not increase the value in this case.

Great gun. I've had the same model since about '71 or so.
