870 16 ga wingmaster

I have a 870 wingmaster in 16 ga that has a barrel with no date code and rem choke. The serial number 44806X W and it looks to be a newer gun. I was thinking it was made in the early 2000's when Remington reintroduced the wingmaster in 16 ga since the rem choke and the newer style butt pad stock. the serial number without a prefix is throwing me off. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.
