Just picked up a Model 51 early production with a three digit serial number PA 77X. The gun is in pretty good shape with minor ware in the blueing. Just wondering how rare it is with such a low serial number, and trying to figure the value. Anny help would be greatly apreicated.

After doing more reasearch, this pistol has no inspection marks anyware on the frame inside or out. It has all of the features of later production models, but the absence of anny inspection marks makes a very early production model. Making it quite rare.
