I just got this one, its a little puzzling. With the help of Remington it was determined it is a RRB Saddle Ring Carbine, and has many features of the 50-70 NY Militia carbines ( extended hammer & spur, half cock safety ). The question is the cartouche on the stock ( see pictures ). It has USI, 56, and the initials EK. Anyone have any info on this one ? ID ? Value ?
