Can anybody give me an idea of the date of manufacture of Serial #39753?

Somebody probably can, but if it says Remington Arms Co. it is from the 1905 to 1910 time frame. If it says Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. it is from 1911 to 1920. If it says Remington Arms Co., Inc. it is after 1920, and beginning in 1921 Remington began stamping the date codes for month and year on the barrels. The old factory log book, available on the web site, begins with the date September 30, 1919, with the highest serial number being 199,611, so I'd guess the gun in question around 1908 or 9 --
