M3200 Live Pigeon Gun

Post by tudurgs »

Can someone please dig out a 70's era catalog and look up the 3200 Live Pigeon Gun specs? It is my understanding that the gun had stock dimensions with a DAH between a field gun and a trap gun. Thanks.

The only catalogues I find that list the 3200 Live Bird Gun is the 1979 to 1982. The gun is not pictured in any of the catalogues. In those catalogues, the Live Bird Gun is listed as stock number 3207 and is essentially a satin finish Competition Skeet Gun with 28-inch barrels choked imp. mod. and full. The dimensions listed are 14 inch LOP, 2 1/8" drop-at-heel and 1 1/2" drop-at-comb. Looking back in the 1973 to 77 time frame when the Field was offered it had the same stock dimensions, but had a butt plate rather then a recoil pad.

Thanks. Once again my memory has been shown to be faulty. Darn! Intuitively, I would have thought one would want a straighter-stocked gun to prvide vertical lead on a rising bird.
