Yes they were helpful, but anyone who knows beans about shotguns ought to know PolyChoke is still around, I don't like them, but many do. Heck they even make a screw in model that works with removable choke tube barrels now. You did real smart not shooting it without the collet. Fixing that could have gotten expensive.

I did not mean you but the gun shop you talked to. They knew enough to sell you a part, but not that PolyChoke was still around? Doubtful. Profiteering is alive and well.
