# 5 Military Rolling Block

I have what I was told was a #5 Military rolling block action which I fitted with a Numrich Arms kit probably back in the sixties or seventies. The block and hammer look like the #5. Is there a way to know for sure it is a #5? Could a #5 hammer and block have been put in another frame? Thanks for any information. David.
