No 2 Rolling Block caliber question

Post by RedFeather »

Guess this would be a re-1989 gun, so I'll ask here. Ran across a No2 in 32W today. Would that be a 32-20? Looks about 70/80% with a decent bore. Any idea what a fair price would be?

Thanks in advance,

If it is a center fire then you are correct it should be 32-20 WCF. The other 32 Cal. was 32 Short & Long RF. Jay Huber RSA

re-1989??? Yes, it's pre-1898. It's impossible to make a fair value estimate without seeing the rifle. There are just too many variables like if it's reblued, has replacement parts, etc.. I suggest you beg or borrow a BLUE BOOK OF GUN VALUES.
