1959 20 gauge Wingmaster 870

I have a 1959 Remington 20 gauge Magnum Wingmaster 870. This shotgun is perfect. Very little if any use. Bluing is perfect. No mares no scratches. Wood on shotgun is perfect. I dont know alot about guns, but I would rate this as immaculate and 100%. Any ideas of the value? And one other question, on the left side of the barrel it has some letters.. D R W 80... any help with what those letters and numbers mean would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Annie.

Typically, values aren't given on firearms on the forum because they're not available to actually be evaluated. There are a number of online firearms auction sites that you may be able to find something similar to come up with a dollar amount. The actual "value" of anything is what someone will be willing to pay for it.
How do you know that it is from 1959? Those barrel codes you listed don't coincide with 1959. I think either 1968 or 1972 would be more likely.
