Military Rolling Block in 30-40 Krag

Post by rudybolla »

Can anyone provide me with photographs of the rolling blocks chambered in 30-40 Krag? Did they offer both rifles and carbines? Any with halfstocks? Was there a sporting version? Thanks!

Thanks for the pics. Seems the one I was looking at was chambered in .30-06. It is like the one shown on page 136 of The Guns of Remington and seems to have been put together from parts by Bannerman. I was going to buy it, but the hammer had a broken off thumbpiece.
