7mm rolling block information

I have a Remington 7mm rolling block rifle, no stock. I do not find a serial number. The patient date is 10-22-1801. It also says Ilion, NY. Any information on mfg. date, value, or anything else would be appreciated.

Aside from the Mexican contract these rifles had no serial number. The numbers on the sides of the tangs are assembly numbers. The patent date is 1901. They were sold throughout Central and South America. Without a stock the rifle has value as a barreled action only and the value would depend on it's condition.
