Helps identify that is is probably 45-70 or .50 caliber? Center Fire Rolling block. Receiver side also has a crown stamp on it up near the top screw. No model number indicated like some others I have seen.

Stampings under the stock forearm. Forearms stock is attached with 3 bands, middle one having sling ring. The forearm rings have crowns on them. Hopefully means something to somebody - since I haven't a clue

Provides a bit more info. I did measure the muzzle bore to be @ approx.456
The best thing about this whole find is that it is in very excelent shape, minimal rust that have been able to nearly remove with some gun cleaner. I am actually looking forward to taking to the range and sending some rounds through it. provided I can complete the identification process and find some ammunition for it.
Assistance from the knowledgeable group of individuals on this site would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Chris
