Back in the early 1970s when I went through a period of shooting 1100s at skeet, there was the basic Model 1100 skeet gun the Model 1100SA or as we called them "skeet average." Then there was a skeet gun with slightly better wood, the Model 1100SB, which we refered to as "skeet better." Both these guns had the pressed in checkering of the early 1100s. Finally there was one with even better wood and cut checkering the Model 1100SC, which again we refered to as "skeet cut."
