Post by Eddie Southgate »

Is the m25 as hard on brass as the m14 and m141 ?

I shoot several model 25s in 25-20 and haven't found them to be rough on brass. All the stuff I shoot are 60 grain high speed factory loads, or Hornady 60 grain flat points hand loaded to factory specs. Compared to model 14s they are not a problem.

Yes, the M25 sniper rifle is just as hard on brass as a standard M14. Because the M25 is mechanically identical to the M14 platform, it inherits the exact same violent, gas-operated extraction system.
