While I am a longtime fan of the shotguns of Ansley H. Fox, but I prefer the engraving found on Remington and Lefever doubles.

All simply stunning! What an under appreciated art!
I despise the so called “engraving” on firearms today. I would imagine that some top quality firearms still have hand engraving but I would also imagine you are talking 5 figure price tags. Hey, you get what you pay for.
