Eddystone Model 1917 30-06

Before I ask any questiones, etc., does this one qualify as a Remington?!?

The Eddystone Arsenal was a subsidiary of Remington during WW1 so I guess it qualifies.

So, anyone shooting cast in these? Mine has (what I suspect is a WW II era; it is undated) HS barrel. Also has the "P" stamped on the bbl.

Someone said that the 1917's were barreled using the same tooling as the P14, and that they run large (.311 or so). Never heard that.
