Remington Model 24

Post by Greg64 »

Hi,

I've recently acquired a Remington Model 24 from my late father-in-law. I know nothing about this gun. Any information anyone could provide would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Greg

The Remington 24 is a dandy little 22 that came in 22lr and 22 short. They are based on the Browning patent and are quite a pleasure to shoot. I have one in 22 short as well as a Browning 22lr of the same design

The Remington Model 24 is a classic. To learn more, consider joining online forums dedicated to vintage firearms. Treat it with care, as finding replacement parts can be tricky. Speaking of tricky, remember that feeling when you first started playing Cookie Clicker and didn't know what to upgrade first?

I was trying to disassemble an old Mauser action rifle. The bolt was stuck, no matter how hard I tried, the more it made me feel like playing Level Devil, and after hours of poking and prodding, I finally found a hidden detent.
