Question on Model 7600 Remington rifles

Hi John Taylor here and I am wondering if anyone here has ever owned or seen a model 7600 that is a high grade.
I found in The book on Auto loading and Pump Rifles by Gene Myskowski where he said they did make a D and F grade in both the 7400 and the 7600 and also found them listed in an old "Blue Book" . I have searched the internet high and low and can not find any info or pictures of either grade.

There was a 7600 that had hunting scenes stamped on the receiver but no actual high grade guns. Has any one on the forum ever owned or seen a D or F grade 7600 ???? Please let me know. Thanks !! John

Hello John,

I have both a M-7600 and 7400 engraved and with gold inlays. They are part of a 5 arm set made for Remington's 180th Anniversary.
The other 3 are Models 870, 11-87, and 700. I don't recall the exact number produced, but believe it was 30 or 40 sets.
There was an article in a past RSA Journal describing all f them. Sorry I don't recall which issue it was.
These are the only high grade ones I know of.

Thanks for the response Chuck !! I recently bought a 7600 D grade from a friend of mine. It's a beautiful rifle and is actually being shipped to me now so haven't had my hands on it yet. Here are some random pictures of it in no special order. the previous owner did have a scope mounted on it and hunted with it so it's not perfect but I like it !

Yours are the only other high grades I have actually heard of and I would love to see a few pictures of them if possible.

Hi John,

I would post photos of my 180th Anniversary Model 7600, but I'm technically challenged. My friend who took photos for me, unfortunately
has passed away. However, If you have been a member of RSA for some years, there is an article on the 180th. set in the 2nd. quarter 2017 RSA Journal. Sorry I can't help right now.
