Hi

i am french and
I was hoping someone might be able to provide date of manufacture for my remington new model army

The number on the underside of barrel and under the handle stock reads:
57466 inspector stamp GP

Thank you for any info you might be able to unearth.

Per Don Ware's book, it was made Feb 1864.
