Acquired a Model 11..

Sorry I couldn't get to the pictures either.
Normally you assumption would be correct, however, many times Model 11's have had a barrel replaced at some point in their lives.
Since date and repair codes appear on the barrel most of the time, only the age and repair date apply to that barrel at that time.
If the barrel serial number matches the receiver then you have a complete record.
