I have a 2013- 572 pump, that has shot about 10,000 rounds. it has been my primary weapon for killing nutria. it has developed a jamb by double feeding from the mag when I pump the action for followup shots. it cleanly ejects the spent case but then 2 fresh rounds pop up and when the bolt goes forward it jambs. i dig them out with a small screwdriver. i have examined the carrier and groove that it fits in. i see no serious wear.
does the carrier spring get a little weak over time and possible cause this problem?
i have an older 572 and swapped out the trigger assemblies the problem persisted!!?? the assembly is from an older used gun i bought . so it may be worn also??
any thoughts or suggestions??
