I just joined the site and thought I should say hello! I'm a long-time hunter, target shooter, competitive marksman, plinker, and all-around lover of things that go bang! Over the years I've owned quite a varied selection of firearms although my current collection is rather modest at only five. A far cry from the days when I owned 20+, that's for sure! Currently there are three Remingtons in that collection, all of somewhat vintage origin with the youngest being 35 or so years old. They are a Nylon 66, 552 Speedmaster, and the crowning jewel so far as I am concerned is the Model 721 in .30-06 that belonged to my father-in-law. That rifle was made in June of 1948 and is still all original, although the stock has been reshaped and refinished.
I look forward to picking the minds of the fine folks here regarding that latter rifle, as one condition of it coming into my possession is that I restore it as much as possible.
