Remington info wanted

I have a Remington Shotgun, 5 shot auto, patterned after the Browning, I believe.
I am wondering if there can be a provenance letter procured on this gun, and what model this may be. the following info is found on the gun.
REMINGTON UMC ILION NY NY
MANUFACTURE 1900,1901,1902,1903,
SERIAL NUMBER 120037

It does not say what model it is or what gauge it is, but looks like a 12 gauge. any help would be appreciated for additional info.

You have a model 11 Shotgun made in 1912. We have no records of to whom shipped. It should be 12ga. Jay Huber RSA
