7600 Need some help

Looks like someone made a custom buttstock for it and "enhanced" the factory roll engraving. I can't tell if the forearm is factory from the pic. A close up pic could solve that real quick. The factory roll engraving has been gone over with something to make it stand out better.

Looks like someone put goldleaf to the factory engraving ( stamped) , and put on a custom buttstock . I like the wood , you can keep the rest of it ! I don't recall seeing a Carbine with the engraving though .

i agree. gold leaf in factory engraving, custom butt stock and it looks like the barrel has been cut down too. looks shorter than 18.5" to me. does it say carbine on the barrel?

that said, i like it. remington ought to make one like it.
