The Remington Model 870 has been in production about 61 years, with over 10 million guns produced, and in that time there have been a number of different trap gun versions produced. We'll need a lot more information before we can even begin to comment. Here are the Trap Gun offerings when the Model 870 was introduced in the October 1950 Remington catalogue --
