It should be Remington Arms Co. from 1905 through 1910. The company became Remington Arms - Union Metallic Cartridge Co. in 1911. The butt plate for an early Remington Autoloading Gun should have REMINGTON by the upper screw and ARMS CO by the lower screw with horizontal grooves in between.
