I have a model 10 made between Jan 1928 and March 1928
there is no U before the s/n 273265 is this normal?
there is no type indicator it just says model 10 on the receiver
the barrel is 20.25 including the chamber, s/n is matching w/ no type indication
the barrel is stamped full and R.E.P with a anchor stamp just below R.E.P
I want to believe the barrel came out of the factory at this length any help or information is appreciated. I can provide pictures if necessary.

is their a particular stamp for the choke your talking about? mine says full and next to it their is a stamp that looks round with markings at 12 o'clock , 3 o'clock , 6 o'clock and 9 o'clock.

o.k. I see now what your getting at.. the barrel is stamped "full" but I can definately fit a dime into the end.

Does anybody have any ideas about the no "U" before the serial number and the fact that their is no indication as to the model type..it just says "Model 10" ?
