I agree that it is Swedish. It looks like it started life as a military rifle because of the serial #'s and the inspector initials. It was subsequently converted to a shotgun (based on the scalloped top of the receiver and the rear sight that is just visible in one of the photos). The receiver was scalloped to make room for the "ears" on either side of the breech block to accommodate the large rim diameter of the shotshell. Impossible to tell from here what gauge the bore is. In addition to smooth bore shotguns the Swedes also bored some shotguns for slugs (???) with a very slow twist rifling similar (?) to the British Paradox bores.

A 12 gauge shotgun bore measures .729"; a 14 gauge shotgun has a bore that measures .693".
