TPI for rear tang srew on Rem 11?

Guntroll,

The tang screw length varied tremendously between stock types through the years, but the thread size and diameter does not.

You may be forced to step up a size in diameter and re-thread the screw boss on the action tang. I believe the A5 tang screws are slightly larger in diameter than the rems with a different thread size also.

He'll be glad to help you.

He is closed on Sun. and Mon. so try him Tue. 9 am.-5 pm.

Also remember the tang screw has a tapered shaft and the stock bushing is hyperbolic.

The rear tang screw thread is 12-40.
