Hammer spring on a Rem. model 7400 .308 spec please....

Hi

I am trying to find out if the hammer spring on my Remington semi auto model four ( same as model 7400) is still within the specs. I had a few rounds that did not explode. I was told if the gun as been at rest for too long with the trigger armed, the spring could be compressed.

so does someone know what is the precise length of that spring , taken from the Remington spec please.
