Found 700 BDL in 300 Weatherby Mag, how rare is this rifle?
A buddy of mine offered to sell me his Remington BDL. I've never heard of one like this. It's chambered in .300 Weatherby Mag, stainless, engraved, drop magazine. It has never been fired, never been loaded. He won it in a fireman's raffle in 2000 or 2001 and it's been in the original box since. He said it's the enhanced model, whatever that means. Can anyone shed any light on this rifle for me? Thanks

Here it is, 7 JUN 2010 and nobody's responded yet...
This is a slow Forum, especially for the more modern Remington stuff.
I hope you bought that rifle!
The 'enhanced' versions had a scroll-roll type of engraving.
It was unusual, and I don't think it was too popular, but that chambering would be a rarity, I think.
NIB ( new-in-box ) with the paperwork would be a plus.
Get it and shoot it!
Good Luck.
