20ga 1100 LW "Limited"
20ga 1100 LW "Limited"
What is an 1100 20ga LW "Limited" worth? I have one with two 23" barrels, one I.C. and the other Modified. It is not listed in the Standard Catalog of Firearms. It has the 1" shorter stock which I believe is mahogany rather than walnut. It is NRA excellent with no blueing wear, dings or scratches.

Oh gads, this is all from memory. I think those were the earliest examples of what would become the 'Youth' models, and if I remember correctly they did not have the shortened magazine tube and fore end - i.e. the magazine capacity was still 4 rounds of 2-3/4". I have no collector knowledge, but if it is as I described they are relatively rare compared to the later Special Fields and Youth Models. I know the early polished blue and walnut or Mahogany Youth models seem to be fetching good money these days.

Thanks Virginian. You are correct, the normal mag capacity is 4 rounds however this one is 2 with the plug in. My son, wife and 2 daughters learned to shoot with this and it is perfect for younger persons and smaller women.

I got one of those pretty walnut shortened stocks and put it on my LT and taught both my daughters, and then I sold it to a buddy, and then he sold it... I think it is on about the fourth generation now. When it came time to teach my stepson I was aghast... he actually wanted an all black gun.
