My father is 78-years old and has a rifle that was given to him by his grandfather. It was used to kill hogs on the farm where he grew up. It is a Remington, rimfire, 32 rifle. It has the rolling block assembly and a hexagon barrell. The only number on the gun is on the underside of the barrell between the stock and wooden grip. The number is 151666. It is also stamped Remington Arms Corporation, Ilion, New York.
Thank you for helping me,
CRowe
Please help me date my father's Remington 32 rimfire rifle
Re: Please help me date my father's Remington 32 rimfire rifle
It could be a No 4, a No 2, a No 1 or No 1 1/2 action. More info or a photo would be helpfull.
