Date of manufacture

I have recently acquired a Remington rifle #34 which is .22 cal LR/SR . The barrel # is 19347 with no letters in the code.

Can anyone help ?

Your rifle was made c. 1933. It should have a barrel code ending with the letter "B".

I can't see the barrel. The code isn't on the receiver.

After cleaning the barrel I found the letters "AB"next to the receiver, and on the opposite side is also a mark. Do these mean anything?

March 1933. The other stamps are proof, testing. Check date of manufacture on this home page.
