Strange 870 configuration and looking for information. I have owned both TB and TC 870's. I have found a 1952 Wingmaster (stamped YY on barrel), barrel serial matches reciever.
12 ga. with 30" VR barrel, rib is not high post or stepped. 2 3/4 only, full choke with a steel front bead and an ivory mid-bead, which is strange. Gun has aftermarket wood, so I can't tell much from the stock.
Were the early 870 Trap models stamped with a 'T' designator? Is this just a plain Wingmaster?
Any insight would be appreciated.
