Are you sure that's what it says? I've never heard of a 660 Mohawk. I have three 600 Mohawks (2 from '74 and 1 from '77.....a .222, a .243 and a 6mm Rem. in that order). I'm well aware of and familiar with the "standard" 600's, 660's and then the 600 Mohawks, but a 660 Mohawk may be pretty rare.

What's the barrel date code?

What's the barrel length? 600's had 18" (or 18 1/2") barrels and 660's had 20" barrels.

Twist rate for the .243's and 6mm's is 1 in 9" (should be good to shoot just about any bullet weight made)

I don't have any complaints about the accuracy of mine.

A date code of "L R" would be February of 1968.......which I would believe, rather than 1983 (which is a date code of "D"), as they quit making the 660's in the early '70's.
