I'm a far cry from a gunsmith, but I do know that the 12CS breechblock has some different parts than the 12C. If you had a S,L,LR barrel installed, you would soon know... Maybe the worst that could happen would be that you would have to buy a new S, L, LR breechblock??? Be sure to check headspace if you install a new barrel.
