P 14 Enfield markings

I recently acquired a second P 14 by Eddystone. I was comparing it to my Reminton one and noticed that both had a double TT mark on the bottom edge of the butt just past the grip. The Remington has British surplus marks on it and the Eddystone does not but it has an Iraqi ownership mark. Both rifles had very different histories but have acquired this same mark.
Does any one have a thought. I will post a picture.
