Model 81 sn question

Hi again,

I got a question on my 81 Woodsmaster in 30 rem. Here is the weird thing, it has no barrel code or serial number, or writing on the barrel. Just 81 Woodsmaster on the reciever. Has anyone ever heard of this?

Never heard of that. It sounds like it was stoen fron the factory in parts , assembled outside JAY RSA
