I'm trying to release the hammer (without dry firing) for storage. Something about storing a gun with a cocked hammer doesn't sit well with me.

I just purchased a 1927 Model 12 and am getting used to how it works. Can you tell me how to decock it after it's racked? Is that possible or do you have to pull the trigger? Thanks for your help!
